This thesis deal with Java EE technologies and various subtechnologies of Java EE platform. This work is based on experience designing Java EE aplication network organizer with focus on technologies like DB connectivity (JPA, TopLink JPA), network enabled enterprise application design, remote accessing of bussiness logic in Java EE and security of the system as whole. Primary technologies used are Java EE 5 (core platform), Glassfish (application server), Firebird (database) and TopLink (ORM manager).
Personal Information Management over XMPP

This work deals with implementation of personal information manager using the XMPP protocol. It is aimed mainly at most needed tasks in time planning. These task are: keeping of notes, events planning and work with electronic mail. This all in the easiest form so that the functionality could be used by mobile devices with internet access.
Calendar Application With User Friendly Interface

This thesis describes the process of creating a calendar application featuring an effective and user friendly interface. The first step is an analysis of existing calendar applications on various platforms. Then the calendar data standard is explored, together with good practices for user interface design. The analysis is followed by designing the calendar application. The design process consists of calendar library design, graphical interface design and structural interface design. The resulting application, implemented in C++ using Qt framework, is tested.

This system shall provide calendar, alarm, task management, central database accessible from internet network, synchronization in offline mode, user hierarchy for adding new tasks, application running in background with suitable alert system (i.e. window popup) and alerting with e-mail messages.

The purpose of this barchelor’s thesis is to sum up the knowledge of personal data synchronization between a desktop application and the Google services. The main goal is to design and implement own application which would perform advanced synchronization of personal data. The design should be based on knowledge from the first step and also on deep analysis of existing solutions. Last part of the thesis describes testing of the implemented application and discussion of aproached goals and following development of the application.

The main effort is to design application for various devices like mobile phones, tablets and smart watches. Modification of the design, bugfixes and new functions are based on user's monitoring, which is part of this thesis.

In IS there will be modules for evidence of workers, customers, orders, services, costs and particular jobs. IS design will be like that so there is an opportunity to add extending modules.

This thesis aims to time management. The goal is to design and implement web application for simpler and easy-to-use managing of personal time. For this, the application uses calendars, To-Do lists, dividing of bigger task into subtasks or analyzing of spent time. The PHP framework named Symfony was used for implementation of the application with use of object-relation mapping, that is provided by the PHP library Doctrine and uses MySQL database. The CSS and JavaScript technologies were used for better graphical design and dynamism of work with application.
